RESOLUTION
NAMING
THE THREE RESIDENCE HALLS COMPRISING THE SOUTH RESIDENTIAL VILLAGE
AT EASTERN CONNECTICUT STATE UNIVERSITY
October 6, 2005
WHEREAS, The new Residence Halls comprising the South Residential Village at Eastern Connecticut State University opened in August of 2004 and August 2005, and
WHEREAS, The President of Eastern Connecticut State University has recommended names which honor the State of Connecticut, and
WHEREAS, The generic nature of the names permits some flexibility to the university in the event an appropriate donor is identified in the future giving the opportunity for a more personalized naming of the facilities, therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the Board of Trustees for the Connecticut State University System hereby designates the three residence halls comprising the South Residential Village at Eastern Connecticut State University to be known now and hereafter as Constitution Hall (SRV 1), Nutmeg Hall (SRV 2) and Laurel Hall (SRV 3) respectively.
